Lady golfers across the country will swing the swing at the 3rd Rumuokwurushi Ladies Open Championship slated for April 12th – 15th, 2023 in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
The championship being organized by the Ladies Division, Rumuokwurushi Golf Club (RGC), Port-Harcourt is promised to be unforgettable, guaranteed love and friendship on the fairways all the way.
According to the Club Lady Captain, Nkoyo Igunbor in a programme of events made available to Newsnigeriaonline.com.ng on Wednesday, she stated that on Wednesday, April 12th, RGC course workers and children will have their playing day by 7am and 2pm respectively.
“Thursday, April 13th will be for special category ladies hcp 29 – 36, super vets, vet men (including seniors), and arrival of ladies from out of town while the cocktail is billed for 6pm.
“The Friday event will commence with the Day 1 event for ladies hcp 0-28, vet ladies (including seniors), and men’s golfers as the hoisting of flags/ceremonial tee-off hold by 8am,” she stated.
Moreover, the grand finale of the championship on Saturday will feature sponsors event, and Day 2 event for ladies hcp 0-28 who made the cut on Friday just as dinner and presentation of prizes hold later in the evening.
“Our 2nd ladies open was memorable, the 3rd will be unforgettable, guaranteed love and friendship on the fairways all the way. Enough to eat and drink. That’s what RGC stands for.
“All ladies from out of town are guaranteed free accommodation, and hospitality the RGC way. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Garden/Flyover City.
