Winner of Renault Duster Jeep will emerge today at the 1st Uche Okpuno Memorial Pro/Am Golf Tournament which tee-off at Ibori Golf and Country Club (IGCC), Asaba, Delta State.
The star prize exclusively for amateur golfer’s that would play Hole-In-One at the weeklong tournament being hosted by the Club, and will featuring about 100 golfers across the country.
Currently teeing-off at the event are men”s, ladies, veterans and super veterans as well as guest golfers having arrived the capital city and thus set sight with great expectation to drive home the Renault Jeep.
Moreover, the tournament is organised in honour of the late golf icon, and philanthropist who had contributed immensely to the development of golf in Delta State and Nigeria in general.
The memorial golf tournament is proudly supported by Emmy Bless Construction Limited; Coscharis Group; Overland Airways; Blue-Dan Global Resources Limited, and many others.
Newsnigeriaonline.com.ng recalls that IGCC caddies had their course day on Monday while invited professional golfers who arrived on Tuesday played on Wednesday and Thursday respectively just as winners had emerged.
Meanwhile, presentation of prizes for different categories will hold immediately after the return of the last set of golfers.
