Professor O. A. Dawodu dropped paper and pen at Ivory Tower to prevail at the Benin Club Golf Section (BCGS) Ladies Monday Outing.
The University Don (hcp 12) at the end of the nine holes golf event recorded a net score of 32 to emerge overall winner in the ladies category thus beat Ehis Igbinadolor (hcp 6) with 33 net to second spot.
Joy Omorogiuwa (hcp 16) placed third with 34 net while Sandra Emina (hcp 7), LGAN Southern Zone National Vice President settled for fourth with 36 net jist as Mrs. Betty Oriakhi (hcp 17) placed fifth having played 37 net.
The veteran ladies prize went to Mrs. Omosefe Osaghae (hcp 18) with net score of 39 while Mama Ivie Iyoha (hcp 16) continued her dominance in the super veteran ladies after she recorded 52 net.
In another development, the men’s category award was won by F. Utaji (hcp 12) for playing 32 net, and followed by Otali Uteh (hcp 6) with 36 net while Adekunle Edeki (hcp 13) rested at third spot with his 37 net.
The veteran men’s race was between SS Akhigbe (hcp 10) with 35 net and Chief Afam Obanor (hcp 9) 39 net as they both settled for first and second respectively.
