Nemesis caught up with a 34 year old man who murdered his wife in Lagos State and then ran to Ogun State to hide.
The man named Adebiyi Samuel killed his wife, Ogungbe Serah, aged 27 at Lekki Phase 2 area in Lagos on 10th of August, 2023.
This was made known to Newsnigeriaonline.com.ng in a press release issued by the Ogun State Deputy Commander of Amotekun Corps, Aina Oluwakayode on Wednesday.
He noted that Adebiyi in an attempt to evade arrest by the police in Lagos, ran to Ijebu Igbo believing to have escaped from the wrath of law.
However, luck ran against him as he was accosted during Amotekun Corps routine patrol in the area on Monday, 14th of August, 2023 at about 4pm.
The deputy commander expressed that the wife’s killer has confessed to the crime and would be handed over to the police headquarters for further interrogation and prosecution.
