The second batch of Ogun State contingents to the South-West Zonal Elimination series for the 6th National Youth Games held at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Akanran, Ibadan, Oyo State have departed the ancient city.

This is happening almost three hours when the first batch of athletes and officials left the sports resort while report available to Newsnigeriaonline.com.ng revealed that they have arrived Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

The contingent, who left early this morning in Toyota Coaster bus belonging to Ogun State Sports Council were filled with enthusiasm having experienced wonders of what future holds for them in their various sporting events.

As in the usual manner whereby athletes would be struggling to move with the first batch, the case was different this time around as many volunteered to wait for the next batch in order to have a glimpse of the sports facility once again and an opportunity to snap photographs.

This action is as a result of the standard of the sports facility and the edifice as well as other side attraction built at the sports resort, inimical to what they were used to or witnessed in their various states.

Consequently, athletes and officials left behind for the next batch were sighted by Newsnigeriaonline.com.ng snapping photographs at various tourists attraction arena within the resort as part of their gains, and memorable legacy of the elimination series in the city.

Meanwhile, the second batch of the contingent are due to depart soon as vehicle is said to be nearing Ilaji in Akanran as at time of reporting.
