
The management and staff of Redeemer’s University (RUN), Ede, Osun State were in joyful mood as all the seven programmes presented by the university have been accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The newly accredited programmes were presented during the March/April 2021 accreditation visit by the commission.
The programmes were Law, Nursing Sciences, Human Anatomy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, English Language, and Theatre Arts.
According to the commission, the approval was in pursuant of its mandate and in consonance with the provisions of the current Federal Government approved guidelines; initial accreditation of a new programme is held after the programme has run for two academic sessions following approval for the establishment of the programme.
Speaking on the development, the elated Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anthony Akinlo reiterated the commitment of his administration to continue to enhance and sustain the quality of programmes being offered by the university to its students.
He commended the faculties and other staff for their efforts and commitment towards the successful accreditation of the various programmes.
He also appreciated the founding proprietors, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), its entire headship and other well-meaning Nigerians for their unalloyed supports toward making the university an institution of excellence.
