The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), True Vine Zone, Edo Province 6 has organized free medical check-up to commemorate the 2022 Easter celebration Let’s Go A Fishing programme on Friday.
The medical check-up held at the programme venue, Heaven’s Gate Parish at Uyi Osagie street, Obe community, Benin City, Edo State capital witnessed large turn out of patients for the free medical service.
A total of 44 patients who took turn to know their health statuses were offered free malaria test, blood pressure and temperature test, random blood sugar and many others to ascertain their statuses, while various drugs were administered after the test.
Prior to the event, RCCG True Vine Zonal Pastor, Joshua Ukpong led other pastors, ministers and members at the programme to praise and offer prayers to the Almighty God.
After that session, they all embarked on evangelism across the Obe community to evangelise and distribute tracts and handbills as part of the Easter programme.
Speaking to Newsnigeriaonline.com.ng., Mrs. Jolayemi Temiloluwa, member of the medical team confirmed that there were no serious cases during the checkup.
She said: “Everyone case is normal, but with few positive test for malaria, while sugar test were normal, blood pressure cases were also normal while those already on drugs were attended to.”
