Pa Abiodun’s Burial: NANS, NAOSS Inaugurate Joint Working Committee

A Twenty Man Joint Working Committee for late Pa Emmanuel Adesanya Abiodun burial have been constituted by the leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ogun Axis and National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS).

This became necessary following the confirmation of the family plans for the final burial ceremony of late Pa Abiodun, Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun father who died last month.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by Comrade Kehinde Damilola Simeon, NANS Chairman, and Comrade Ogunrombi Gbemileke, NAOSS President, and made available to Newsnigeriaonline.com.ng on Monday.

The committee will be anchored by Comrade Kehinde Damilola Simeon as Chairman, and Comrade Ogunrombi Gbemileke as Co-Chairman, while Comrade Mustapha Adewale (Component) will serve as Secretary.

This was conceived to ensure that the students constituency played their part in ensuring that Pa Abiodun is laid to rest amidst pomp and funfair.

This committee is necessitated by the need to convey solidarity to the Governor, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun and also in recognition of late Dr. Abiodun’s pedagogical endeavours in the South Western academic sector.

Therefore, every students related involvement before, during and after the ceremony shall be coordinated through this committee.

Members of the committee were: Comrade Adebowale Abdulgafar, Comrade Ekundina Elvis, Comrade Abdulgafar Alaseyori, Comrade Owoeye Olufemi, Comrade Okereafor Bestman George, Comrade Akinwunmi Akeem, Comrade Oyeniyi Olasunbo Ifeoluwa, Comrade Shogbamu Tajudeen Kehinde, and Comrade Orisadare Adejoke Amdalat.

Others were Comrade Andor John, Comrade Ogunderu Sodiq, Comrade Ojedele Sunday, Comrade Abdulkareem Abdulgafar, Comrade Solanke Taiwo, Comrade Ola’ Olajumoke, Comrade Joseph Adu Oyeyemi – Member, and Comrade Falola Ahmed – Member.

However, all appointed delegates members are hereby advised to liaise with the Office of the Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor on Students Matters towards organizing and being part of the burial of the governor’s father.
