Mrs. Ehis Igbinadolor and Barr. Victor Oriasotie emerged champions at the maiden September edition of Benin Club Golf Section (BCGS) Ladies Monday Outing held at the club golf course, GRA, Benin City, Edo State.
Top rated Igbinadolor, the Lady Captain, UBTH Golf Club beat Mrs. Betty Oriakhi on count-back having both played a net score of 34 respectively. BCGS former Lady Captain, Princess Nkeruika Awiaka placed third with 40 net while Princess Habiibah Oyeghe Oyarekhua picked the fourth spot prize.
Oriasotie signalled his return to winning ways in the men’s category with an amazing 33 net while second place Dr. Emmanuel Ighodaro played 38 just as former President of Benin Club 1931, Dr. Matthew Oriakhi could only settled for third spot with 39 net.
The ladies veteran prize award was won by Mrs. Omosefe Osaghae with 35 net as the second place Professor O. A. Dawodu recorded 40 net.
In the same vein, SS Akhigbe with a net score of 38 confirmed his supremacy for second consecutive week over Chief Afam Obanor who played 39 net in the men’s veteran event.
