Fayemi Appoints Female Administrator, Osetoba As Acting Chairman Of Ekiti Sports Council

A new dawn has been set in Ekiti State as famous female sports administrator, Mrs Olusola Osetoba was appointed as the Acting Chairman of Ekiti State Sports Council.

Osetoba appointment was approved by Governor Kayoda Fayemi barely a week that the Team Ekiti returned from the 20th National Sports Festival held in Edo State whereby the state won 2 gold, and 2 silver to place …on the medals log.

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Micheal Awopetu who hinted the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ekiti State chapter on phone revealed that governor Fayemi approved Mrs Osetoba’s appointment following favourable consideration by him.

However, the Emure Ekiti born sports enthusiast will assume office in the next couple of days to swing into action and repositioning the state council for enviable standard the state is known for globally.

Before her appointment as acting chairman of the sports council, Osetoba who had Masters Degree in Educational Psychology was a board member of the sports council who has shown exemplary passion towards sports at the grassroots and at the state level and she is the current matron of Emure Local Football Council.

She has also been organizing secondary schools female football, ayo olopon and talent hunt competitions in her local government and she was also the logistics manager for JKF Under 17 cup at the state level

Mrs Osetoba is always at the stadium whenever Ekiti United FC were playing home matches to give them moral support. and she is also a friend of SWAN who has supported the association in a couple of ways since the current executive assumed office with a promise to do more at taking Ekiti sports to the world through all available conventional and socal media platforms.
