Prince Joshua Toba has continued his winning streak with an amazing net score of 69 to win the Benin Club Golf Section (BCGS) Hacker’s Kitty on Wednesday.
The Kogi State-born Prince Toba who is currently handicap 17 played 86 gross to win the kitty again at the BCGS golf course, Benin City, Edo State.
Newsnigeriaonline.com.ng recalls that Prince Toba (hcp 23) against all odds emerged overall best champion in an amazing fashion at the June edition of BCGS Monthly Mug/Handicap Celebration held on July 16, 2022 with a net score of 67.
Similarly, four days later, the duo of Prince Toba (hcp 20) and Osazee Iyare (hcp 3) played 67 net to emerge joint winners at the Hackers Kitty proudly sponsored by Hon. Osazuwa Ehiorobo as part of activities to mark his 50th birthday celebration in July.
Moreover, Jude Igbinadolor (hcp 12) settled for second spot with 73 net while the trio of Hon. Matthew Iduoriyekenwem (hcp 14), Maero Okpewono (hcp 16) and Charles Otabor (hcp 18) shared the third spot having played 74 net respectively.
In the same vein, one of the fastest rising golfers in the club, who also was the immediate past President of Benin Club 1931, Dr. Matthew Oriakhi (hcp 12) won the best gross with 86 gross.
Meanwhile, a total of 36 golfers teed-off at the kitty that was sponsored by Engr. A. Peter.
