The Benin Club Golf Section (BCGS) Captain’s Inaugural Golf Tournament has finally teed-off at golf course, GRA, Benin-City, Edo State.
Playing today at the inaugural tournament are BCGS men’s hcp 19 – 28, ladies hcp 29 – 36, veteran and super veteran men’s and ladies whereby winners will emerge at the end of the day.
However, the grand finale of the tournament on Sunday will be the turn of BCGS men’s hcp 0 – 18, ladies hcp 0 – 28, guest men and guest ladies respectively.
Similarly, the presentation of trophies and prizes to winners in various categories as well as dinner is slated for 6:30pm.
Newsnigeriaonline.com.ng recalls that the Club Captain, Joseph Idahosa in his show of love organised tournament for the caddies and trainee pros on Wednesday as part of activities marking the inaugural tournament.
The inaugural tournament is organised by the Captain, Idahosa in conjunction with the BCGS Executive Committee.
Also, over 150 golfers from Ikoyi Golf Club; Ikeja Golf Club, Lagos State; IBB Golf and Country Club, Abuja; Ibori Golf and Country Club (IGCC), Asaba, Delta State; UBTH Golf Club and many others are featuring at the event.
