Quest for the best gross title race in the ladies hcp 1 – 28 category begins today through Saturday at the ongoing 9th Enugu Ladies Open Golf Championship in Enugu State.
Similarly, the hoisting of flags and ceremonial tee-off hold today at Enugu Sports Club Golf Section as ladies are to wear yellow on black pants or skirt with matching cap or visor as matches progress.
Today’s event will serve as Day 1 of the best gross event while the Day 2 on Saturday serves as the grand finale to determine the overall best gross winner at the end.
However, several matches have been outlined for tomorrow events among such are the veteran and super veteran ladies, the men’s hcp 1 – 28, veteran and super veteran men’s while presentation of trophies and other prizes as well dinner hold thereafter.
Newsnigeriaonline.com.ng recalls that the championship teed-off yesterday with a special category that featured ladies hcp 29 -36 who were on free style dress code during the game.
Also, the championship is organized by the Club ladies Sub-section under the Lady Captain, Dr. Obiageli Pat Ndu, and from the information gathered so far from participants at the event, it has been a successful hosting.
